Your booking

What methods of payment are accepted?

Payment is due on arrival, by cheque or cash. 

Credit cards are not accepted.

How can I book my chalet?

Reservations can be made via the contact form (top right of the website) or by telephone on +33 (0)7.60.25.08.99.

Is there a deposit? A guarantee?

A deposit of 30% is required for reservations of 2 nights or more.

A guarantee cheque for 300€ is required on arrival. This will be destroyed or returned to you on departure, except in the event of damage.

What are the rates?

Rates vary depending on the booking period. You can find them in each Lodge tab, under ‘Rates’, or by contacting us via the form or on +33760250899.

How do I get to Lodges de la Valière?

Coming from Gap, on the RN94, 200m after the Chorges traffic circle, take the exit for Le Barrage, Espinasses. Turn right at the stop sign, and the Lodges de la Valière are 300m on your left.

 

Coming from Embrun, on the RN94, exit at Chorges. At the fountain, follow signs for Le Barrage, Espinasses. On leaving the village, Les Lodges de la Valière are 300m on your left.

Is winter equipment required to come to the Lodges de la Valière?

Since the Mountain Law, special equipment is mandatory in winter from November 1 to March 31.

What time can I get there?

Arrivals are from 3 pm to 8 pm. Please let us know your arrival time.

What happens in the event of late arrival?

In the case of arrival after 8pm, please let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

If the owners are not notified, the stay is cancelled and the deposit is forfeited to the owners, who no longer have the time to rent out the lodge so late.

Does the lodge have private parking?

Each lodge has its own parking space with direct access.

In the event of heavy snowfall, vehicles will have to be parked at the entrance to La Valière, and you will have to walk to your lodge. We strongly advise you to bring the necessary equipment.

Your stay

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

Each lodge has a fully-equipped kitchenette, complete with pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, crockery, microwave, gas hob and fridge with freezer compartment.

If you book a packed lunch, the necessary equipment will also be provided.

We've thought of everything so that you can enjoy dinner without leaving your relaxing cocoon.

When can I access the SPA?

Each lodge has its own private indoor or outdoor SPA (see lodge description), which you can access at your convenience throughout your stay.

What are the hygiene rules in SPAs?

The SPAs are meticulously cleaned, in accordance with our maintenance booklet, after each tenant's departure. However, we ask you to take a soapy shower before entering the SPA. No creams or oils are allowed in the SPA. We also ask you to behave properly, so that everyone can have a pleasant time. 

How can I book extra services?

If you would like to benefit from our extra services, please let us know at the time of booking, so we can organize everything in advance of your arrival.

What shops are close to Les Lodges de la Valière?

Chorges village, close to Les Lodges de la Valière, offers a wide range of shops and services: restaurants, doctors, pharmacy, butcher, supermarket...

Is breakfast included?

Yes, everything is in the fridge when you arrive. When you reserve, please specify whether you would like a salty or sweet breakfast.

Viennoiseries and fresh bread are deposited in the morning starting at 8 a.m. in a container that keeps them warm outside the rental unit.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed in the lodges for hygiene and allergy reasons.

Who are our suppliers?

Committed to healthy, local food, we work with local producers and artisans whenever possible. Whether organic or not, we take great care in choosing the products we offer.

Our charcuterie and cheese are meticulously selected by Fabien, from the “Au bon carnivore” butcher's shop in Chorges. The bread and viennoiseries are made with passion by Giada and Pierre-François, from the village's “Amat” bakery. Honey is harvested and jarred by Marion, beekeeper and founder of “Butine” in Chorges.

Depending on the availability and closing days of these establishments, we are obliged to turn to other retailers, always with a view to offering you quality local products.

The shower gel/shampoo offered in each chalet was conceived and designed by Blandine, founder of the Lune et l'autre brand. Her soaps are made from organic and local products.

What are the departure times?

Departures are possible from 8am to 10:30am. For special requests, please contact us when booking.

Do I need to clean the lodge?

Cleaning is included in the nightly rate. However, it is always appreciated to leave your rental clean and tidy (dishes done and put away, toilets emptied, etc.).
